Raised in Colombia, Paola Gaviria was born on June 20, 1977 in Quito, Ecuador. He studied Artistic Expression at the Javeriana University of Cali and Plastic Arts at the University Foundation of Fine Arts, in Medellín, the city where he co-founded the collective and space Taller 7. In recent years he has been drawing in various cities around the world, from Paris to Sydney. She has collaborated with various fanzine, comic and illustration collectives, and is the author of the graphic novel Virus tropical, in which she narrates her experiences. She is also in charge of the comic section at Arcadia magazine.
