Rachel Cusk is the author of the trilogy of novels A contraluz (A contraluz, Tránsito and Prestigio), of the memoirs A job for a lifetime and Despojos, and of several works of fiction and non-fiction, including the novel Second House. She has received a Guggenheim fellowship. She lives in Paris.
