Ramiro A. Calle is a teacher and writer of yoga, pioneer in introducing this discipline in Spain. He has traveled more than fifty times through the countries of Asia and has interviewed the most important monks and specialists of Buddhism. He has written more than a hundred books on various topics, mostly philosophical or spiritual, but also compilations of stories and travel guides. Since 1971 he runs the largest yoga center in Spain, the Shadak Yoga Center, where more than three hundred thousand people have passed. He has also taught at the Autonomous University of Madrid, and has given lectures elsewhere.
