Ramón Valle-Inclán

Ramón del Valle-Inclán (1866-1936) was one of the greatest representatives of the Generation of 98, perhaps the most unique, brilliant writer and author of an abundant theatrical, novelistic, short story and poetic work. He was a great innovator of Spanish literature, because not only he introduced modernism and the gruesome in our lyrics, but he raised the first to its maximum expression and transcended it through a certain tone of parody, which he applied to a good part of his work. The course of the years has enhanced its heritage, and is considered one of the greats of Spanish literature of all time. Together with the Sonatas, highlights of his work Luces de Bohemia, the series El ruedo Ibérico and all his theater.
