Robert Filliou

Robert Filliou was a French poet and artist, involved with the Fluxus group. Born in 1926 in the French town of Sauve and died in 1987 in a Buddhist monastery of Les Eyzies in Dordogne.

In 1947 he moved to live in the United States. There he graduated in Economics at the University of California, Los Angeles. During the following years working for the UN in the development of an economic recovery program in Korea. In the early 60s comes into contact with a number of poets and artists who determine the start of his career as 'permanent creator'.
