Rocco Ronchi graduated from Bologna and received his doctorate from the State University of Milan under the guidance of Carlo Sini, of which he was a student. He is currently a professor of theoretical philosophy at the University of L'Aquila and a professor of philosophy at IRPA (Research Institute of Applied Psychoanalysis). He has courses at several universities, both Italian and foreign, and collaborates with several research centers. He is the director of two series: "Philosophy at present" for Textus Edizioni di L'Aquila and "Canone Minore" for Mimesis Edizioni in Milan and since 2014 he directs the Praxis philosophy school in Forlì.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Société des amis de Bergson and collaborates with the cultural services of Rai Radio Tre and with the Doppiozero site.
