Rodolfo Enrique Fogwill

Rodolfo Enrique Fogwill

Fogwill was born in Buenos Aires in 1941. His name appears repeatedly as part of the triad at the head of the current Argentine narrative, along with César Aira and Ricardo Piglia. Author of short stories, poems and novels, he has been a university professor, publisher, publicist, business consultant ... The novel Los pichiciegos (1983) - his magnificent exploration of the "interiors" of the Falklands War - is, without place to doubts, one of the masterpieces of literature of the late twentieth, in any language. Other of his novelistic milestones are Vivir Fuera (1998) and the Species of Trilogy, published in Spain by Mondadori, which form The Sensible Experience (2001), In another order of things (2002) and Urbana (2003).
