Mexico City, 1973. He is the author of two short story books: La vida amorosa de las cicaarras (CONACULTA, 2013) and Todo lo sucede bajo el agua (Julio Torri National Short Story Award 2007-2008). He won the National Fantastic Story and Science Fiction Award in 2011, and an honorable mention in the National Prize for Police Literature (2007). He is the author of the crime novel Hypermedia Tattoo (2015), and compiler of the anthologies: Black intentions: anthology of Mexican black tale (JUS, 2009), The abyss: we approach the terror made in Mexico (Ediciones SM, 2011) and Hic Sunt Dracones, critical anthology of Mexican fantasy literature (Tierra Adentro, 2014).
