Rogelio Rovira is Professor of Philosophy at the Complutense University of Madrid. He further studies at the Institute of Philosophy of the University of Salzburg, under the direction of Professor Balduin Schwarz, one of Dietrich von Hildebrand's early disciples. He received his doctorate in 1986 with a thesis on Kant's rational theology, directed by Professor Antonio Millán-Puelles. He is the author of several books and of numerous works, translations and editions of philosophical texts referring mainly to questions of metaphysics, in which the thought of Kant, Leibniz and Aristotle occupies a central place, as well as realist phenomenology.
