Roger Lancelyn Green

Roger Lancelyn Green's (1918-1987) hobby of myths and legends flourished during his student years at Oxford University, where he was enriched with a lasting passion for Greece and its culture. He was also fascinated by classical plays and the reworking of ancient myths. From 1946 he published a large number of books: biographies of his favorite authors, original stories for children and about fifty volumes with his personal vision of traditional legends such as King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table (Siruela, nineteen ninety six).
