Philosopher from the University of Santo Tomás de Bogotá, a master's in philosophy from the Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen (Germany) and a PhD with honors from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität in Frankfurt, he has worked as a professor in the philosophy faculties of the Universities Javeriana and Santo Tomás in Bogotá, and as a researcher at the Institute of Social and Cultural Studies Pensar. He has been a visiting professor at Duke and Pittsburgh universities in the United States and at the University of Frankfurt in Germany.
