Born in England but raised in Australia, Sara Ahmed is a feminist writer and an independent academic. The study areas of it focus on the intersection of feminist theories, Queer policies, postcolonialism and anti-racist struggles, and theoretical contributions of it are fundamental to understanding the global production regimes of the sensible. She until 2016 she was a Professor of Cultural Studies and Race and Director of the Feminist Research Center in Goldsmiths, University of London, and she also worked on gender studies at the University of Lancaster.
