Sebastián Lipina

Born in Buenos Aires in 1968, he is a psychologist. Researcher at the Conicet and director of the Applied Neurobiology Unit (UNA, CEMIC-Conicet), he is an adjunct professor in charge of the Social Vulnerability and Cognitive Development seminar of the Psychopedagogy career at the National University of San Martín. Her research encompasses the study of the influences of poverty on childhood neurocognitive development, the design of intervention strategies aimed at optimizing it, and innovation in technical procedures for interdisciplinary evaluation of child development to transfer to public policy. Together with a team of colleagues and collaborators, he has published the results of his research in specialized magazines and books. He has taught classes and conferences at universities in America and Europe. He has been a consultant to Unicef, UNDP, PAHO, Childwatch, and the Ministries of Education, Health, and Social Development in Latin American countries. She is a member of the Interdisciplinary Studies Committee of the Society for Research in Child Development (SRCD, United States) and the CEMIC Ethics Committee.
