Sonu Shamdasani (singapore, 1962) is an author, editor and professor at University College London.

Editor general and co-founder of the Philemon Foundation, Shamdasani is Jung's history professor at the School of European Languages, Culture and Society of the aforementioned university, and vice-dean of the Arts and Humanities Faculty. He is co-director of the UCL Health Humanities Centre.

A historian of psychology and psychiatry, his research follows two intersecting lines: reconstructing the formation of modern psychological disciplines and therapies from the mid-19th century onwards, and reconstructing the formation of Jung's work based on primary footage
