Stascha Rohmer doctorate in philosophy from the Technical University of Berlin in 1999. He was a postdoctoral fellow (1999-2002) and research staff the Marie Curie (2008-2010) at the Institute of Philosophy of the CSIC in Madrid, and professor at the Humboldt University of Berlin from 2003 to 2007, where he currently makes his habilitation thesis on Hegel and Plessner. His research areas include theoretical philosophy and the philosophy of the Spanish culture and thought (in particular the School of Madrid). Among his many publications include the German editions of texts by J. José Ortega y Gasset and Alfred North Whitehead.
