Stefan Grabińesquí (February 26, 1887 - November 12, 1936) was a Polish writer of fantastic horror and literature. Some call it "the Polish Poe" or "the Polish Lovecraft", despite the fact that his works are often surreal or explicitly erotic, which puts distance between his work and that of said American writers. He was an expert in parapsychology, magic and demonology and was interested in the films of German expressionism.
His story "Szamota's wife" was adapted to the cinema as part of a B series trilogy called Evil Streets.
