Tanabe Hajime

Tanabe Hajime (1885-1962) is one of the most important philosophers of contemporary Japan. Along with Nishida, represents the Kyoto School, which is characterized by its attempt to combine western philosophy with the spiritual tradition of Mahayana Buddhism. The author was formed with two of Western thought as Husserl and Heidegger, and ended up influencing the latter. Philosophy as metanoetic (1945) is its first translation to Spanish.
