Thierry Legault

Thierry Legault is a world-renowned amateur astrophotographer. His mastery of this field has allowed him to take all of the photographs in this work, some of which are unique. Asteroid 19 458 was officially named "Legault" by the International Astronomical Union and in 2004 he was awarded the Marius Jacquemetton Prize for his work by the Astronomical Society of France. He is co-author of the Great Atlas of the Moon together with Serge Brunier, and has written numerous articles on astrophotography in specialized magazines in Europe and the United States. He leads astrophotography training sessions and regularly gives lectures throughout Europe, America and Asia. His photographs, especially of the International Space Station, are spread all over the world (The Times, The Guardian, The Daily Mail, the Wall Street Journal, CNN, Science et Vie, Le Monde, Le Figaro, Le Point, I'm interested in TF1, France 2, M6...
