Voloshinov Valentin Nikolayevich was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, in 1895 and belonged to the intellectual elite that is grouped under the name of Bakhtin Circle. Disciple of Mikhail Bakhtin in the 20s, Voloshinov left an intellectual legacy that bare an issue that is often overlooked: the words have a ideoógica load and as such form part of a larger system, language, far from being innocent it is also crossed by the inequalities of society.
