Van Morrison - singer, singer-songwriter, writer, poet, record producer and multi-instrumentalist considered by many as one of the most important singer-songwriters of the 20th century. The extraordinary importance of his artistic work is reflected in the recognition of the universities of Ulster and Queen's in Belfast, which awarded him honorary doctorates. He was also knighted by the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres of France. He has won 6 Grammy Awards and left his mark on the Rock'n Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
