Vanni Bianconi / Locarno, Switzerland, 1977. Poet and translator. His poems have been translated into English, Russian, Polish, Arabic, Spanish, French, German, Hungarian, and Croatian. Some of his books are Ora prima. Sei poesie lunghe (Casagrande, 2008), Il passo dell’uomo (Casagrande, 2012), London as a Second Language (Humboldt Books, 2016) and Sono due le parole che rimano in ore (Casagrande, 2017). He is the artistic director of Babel, a literature and translation festival, and one of the minds behind Specimen, an online translation magazine.
