Vicente Quirarte (Mexico City, 1954) is the author of books of poetry, essays and fiction. A gathering of his books of poems appeared in 2000 under the title Samurai Reasons, and this editorial published an anthology under the title As life sometimes. Other books include In Praise of the street. Literary Biography of Mexico City, the highest air Fish, Housewares to survive in the city, syntax vampire, Hannibal Notebook Egea. He is a professor and researcher at the National Autonomous University of Mexico and a full member of the Mexican Academy of Language, correspondent of the Royal Spanish.
