Xue Mo was born in Inner Mongolia and currently lives and works in Beijing. She graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Painting), and devoted herself to teaching Fine Arts in Beijing for seven years. She then began she devoted herself full time to painting herself, as a professional artist.
