
[María] Yolanda Zamora [Puente] is a Mexican writer and journalist. She has a degree in Communication Sciences and Techniques from the Universidad del Valle de Atemajac, she univates, a house of studies where she also studied the Diploma in Hispano-American Letters and the Diploma in Mexican History. She is a teacher in Philosophy and Social Sciences and a PhD in Educational Philosophy from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente iteso.
She is a producer and host of radio and television programs in the Jalisco Radio and Television System, as well as a columnist in various print media. She is also a teacher at local reading workshops and a guest speaker at national and international forums. She obtained the award of the Second Jalisco Recognition of Women in the communication category.
She has made various reports at the local, national and international level for different media, as well as numerous interviews with prominent cultural personalities.
As a writer, she has published short stories and poetry; she has been anthologized in various volumes and part of her work has been translated into Italian and English.
