Yutaka maekawa

He was born in Tōkyō in 1954. He graduated in Law from Tōkyō Hitotsubashi University. He graduated from Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies at Tōkyō University. Professor at Stanford University (California, USA).

Specializing in comparative literature and American literature, he currently teaches Cultural Studies at Hōsei University (Tōkyō).

Winner with the debut novel by him Creepy of the 15th edition of the National Mystery Novel Award. In 2016, famed director Kurosawa Kiyoshi adapted the novel for the big screen.

Other of his works are: Atrocity (2013), Harsh (2014), Aparition (2014), In the Dark (2015) and Creepy Screech (2016).
