This work brings together four theoretical perspectives that allow us to discuss the different aspects of an issue that worries and occupies contemporary societies: the coexistence and conciliation of freedom and tolerance. In this effort of collective reflection, as university educators, the authors take a clear and defined position and subject it to the scrutiny of the reader, with the purpose of delimiting the scope of the analysis; They present their considerations in an open manner with the aim of provoking reflection on the topic, continuing to deepen it and, of course, provoking essential action. Each of the contributions aims to fuel understanding and analysis of the conditions in which freedom and tolerance are experienced in the world and in our country. It is a position that necessarily invites us to maintain dialogue and reflect on the challenges that the exercise of freedom and tolerance presents to us in our days.
