Operationalized Psychodynamic Diagnosis (OPD-2) is a real guide to action for psychotherapists, it is a diagnostic tool that is only the service of the description and differentiation of patients, but allows for an indication for intervention, to formulate specific tasks and goals, and plan strategies for psychotherapy. Operationalized Psychodynamic Diagnosis (OPD-2) has been developed from a diagnostic tool proven in practice for 10 years (OPD-1). In this new version has been developed taking into account that the diagnosis is always at the service of therapy: OPD2 is a great tool for planning and evaluating treatment, and observe the change. This method has also been proposed to bridge the gap between clinical guidelines and diverse backgrounds, and between them and researchers.
