Current Federico Cordoba is a professor of Arabic and Islamic studies at the University of Zaragoza. Among his works are in the field of teaching Arabic-Spanish Dictionary, updated in collaboration with Ignacio Ferrando, Spanish-Arabic Dictionary, both published by Herder, the Dictionary of Arabs, the Spanish-Arabic New Dictionary and Introduction to grammar and Arabic texts. In the field of research include A grammatical sketch of the Spanish-Arabic dialect bundle and grammar, and text metrics of Aban hispanoárabe Guzman song of an extensive work ranging from translations of ancient Arabic literature, medieval and contemporary or Ethiopian apocryphal literature in Arabic dialectology issues, especially al-Andalus and its relations with peninsular Romance and Semitic linguistics.
