
On the occasion of the centenary of the publication of Where Swann lives, the first volume of the seven that make up Marcel Proust's novelistic cycle In Search of Lost Time, we offer readers a wide selection of thoughts taken from the novel, under the title El lunch on the grass. The texts are published following a thematic order in which the main motifs that run through the work and that define the Proustian universe are represented: time, memory, habit, love, jealousy, social relationships, male homosexuality and femininity, art and artistic creation, literature, language, imagination, dreams, appearance and reality, illness, old age and death. This is the first time that, at least in the Spanish-speaking world, a compilation of these characteristics has been offered to the reader.
