Argentina, Latin America and the world are changing rapidly; apparently in the same direction. Since the neoconservative revolution of the 1980s, throughout the world, a State withdrawn from social responsibilities seeks suitable replacements, even for its traditional tasks. Are the companies called to do it, at least partially? Can you trust that they will comply -without state police- with the codes of conduct with which they say they regulate their actions? Can the State, in its eagerness to privatize, let the private public service companies set the rates, the incorporation of technology or the quality of their services by themselves? These questions are analyzed in this book, as well as the dimension of ethics applied to current economic theory and business administration.
