When faced with a statement such as “Children's rights must be guaranteed”, multiple options arise such as “boys and girls”, “children”, “children” or “children”. But if whoever reads it understands that the rights of all children must be guaranteed, regardless of their sex and gender, doesn't the language manage to express itself in an inclusive way? The norm is defined by the preferences of those who use it.
