The politician and the scientist

In the first part of this work, the author leaves out any question related to the policy that should be followed, rather the content that should be given to political work, because these questions have nothing to do with what it is and what it is. what politics means as a vocation, to clarify: what is meant by politics and what is a political entity. What is the role that politics plays and what is the relationship between ethics and politics? The second part deals with science as a vocation, analyzing how science is presented today, as a profession and what is the situation of a graduate who decides to dedicate himself professionally to science at the university itself.

This work becomes more relevant in current times where politicians abound without a vocation, demagogues dedicated to reviling science and culture, forgetting Plato's principle about the philosopher king that raises the need to unite the virtues of the philosopher with those of the man of State so that all political acts are wise, that is, that all philosophical thought is directed towards political ends.
