For those who are dedicated to art, light can become a mysterious and fascinating power. Faced with a reality that is only dimly perceived, light acquires its true meaning from visionary experience and artistic creation. The present book deals with the phenomenon of inspiration, understood as a displacement of access to the visionary and its subsequent translation into knowledge. The visionary character of light lies in its numinous quality, because it is not optical light that is addressed here, but what is manifested through it.
