Within the substantive components of the city we have space and time. These components establish a dialogic relationship through the human being. Thus, an urban or architectural space is born at a certain time, lives in a certain way in a normally indeterminate period of time and subsequently dies at another time, but always with the imprint of a culture that personalizes and qualifies the city and its architecture. Thus, in the case of Mexico City, traditional neighborhoods or colonies have also suffered transformations due to processes of industrialization, deindustrialization and outsourcing, or because this urban space became dysfunctional or socially obsolete.
