We present in this book three works that refer to Emptiness, a central concept of the Mādhyamika school of Buddhist Philosophy, created by the great philosopher Nāgārjuna in the second century of the Common Era, and which constitutes one of the foundations of all Buddhist thought. , as it manifests itself in much of the vast Buddhist world. It is impossible to understand Buddhism without this notion. We must understand by Emptiness the lack of a proper being, not having an existence in and of itself, because for Buddhism everything without exception is conditioned, dependent on another, formed by component parts or elements. Removed that on which they depend, removed their component parts, things cease to exist. In the Introduction that precedes the three works presented in this book we have developed these ideas about Emptiness, so that the reader accesses the reading of these works with a minimum of knowledge about what should be understood by Emptiness.
