Along with Galileo Galilei, Giordano Bruno was undoubtedly the 'heretic' most significant condemned by the Catholic Church in the early modern age. Very young entered the Dominican order and even before being ordained a priest came the first conflict with the ecclesiastical authorities. His life was a constant flight then cultured Europe. For one reason or another, Giordano Bruno did not develop a systematic thinking, but contact with the diverse environments of their time enriched her writings with insights that today may be able to serve us. His last eight years were spent in the prison of the Inquisition, first in Venice and then Rome, where he was burned on February 17, 1600.
