In The Gay Science, a philosophical work written in prose and verse, written in the form of aphorisms and published in 1882, Nietzsche mixes depth, evil and tenderness. It is considered by the author as the feeling of spiritual victory over the tyranny of evil, achieved by accepting life without rejecting pain.
