Ariadna G. Garcia (1977) is a graduate in Hispanic Philology, and is in possession of the Diploma of Advanced Studies. He has published the books of poems: Construyéndome en ti (1997), Napalm (Hyperion, 2001) and Stateless (Hyperion, 2005). He has won the Hyperion and Young Art Awards of the Community of Madrid. He has also prepared the edition of the anthologies of Twenty-five young Spanish poets (in collaboration with Guillermo López Gallego and Álvaro Tato, Hyperion, 2003, 2nd edition, 2006), Anthology of Spanish poetry (1939-1975) And Spanish Poetry of the Golden Age (Akal 2009). He has translated (in collaboration with Ruth Guajardo) the book Living in the Invisible. New selected poems, by writer Ray Bradbury (Page Break 2013). Between the years 2001-2002 lived in the Residence of Students thanks to a scholarship of creation granted by the City council of Madrid. LUOSTO COTTAGE
 
I feel very comfortable in front of the fireplace,
The soft crackling of the flames
I relax and empty.
 
It costs to light a fire, as it costs
Raise the spirit of a dream
Above the mud,
That a love covers form, that a friendship settles.
Logs are needed,
Diesel and some branches;
Besides patience.

Through the windows we see the snow storm.
The anger of the flakes contravenes the fire,
He denies it, although he shares his destiny
Of fleeting beauty.
The mountains and lakes do not know
This sentence to the limit;
The fear that things will not last,
Not even you.
