The Mayan culture is one of the most important pre-Hispanic civilizations in America, located in the southeastern part of Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, and El Salvador. Remains of imposing cities and ceremonial centers, vestiges of their legends, myths, discoveries and observations, are the evidence of an evolved culture that sought an explanation of the good and bad things in life.
