In the year of the centenary of the birth of this influential Romanian intellectual, his work, extensive and plural, continues to arouse passions and provoking questions. It is not just the prodigious work of a great scholar, historian and interpreter of the perhaps best known in the second half of the twentieth century religions, from his years of residence in Paris and university teachers in Chicago.
