RusticObjects before and after the wall brings together artistic practices that critically address contemporary walls after the fall of the Berlin Wall on November 9, 1989, from political-aesthetic perspectives, the deployment of new global identities, international migratory displacements, and the emergence of political discourses that are articulated from the «fear of the other».
This publication is the product of multiple daily and affective conversations, which is why it does not seek definitive answers, but rather opens questions about walls that are strengthened, and also, about those who resist their hardness, jump over them, escape and tear them down.
