This essay addresses the figure of Mary Zambrano from its relationship with the poets of his time, mainly the generation of 27. Following a biographical trajectory that starts from the formative years to the development of his mature works as Thought and Poetry in Spanish life and philosophy and poetry, both of 1939, the poetic references that formed these contexts that influence the genesis of the "poetic reason" are analyzed. Friendly relations and meeting points between María Zambrano and poets like Jose Bergamin, Luis Cernuda or Miguel Hernández, among others are presented as well.
