Sōseki , the celebrated Japanese novelist , was a multifaceted writer : funny, ironic , nostalgic , introspective , surreal , really, changing . Through his haiku can appreciate the many facets of this author on top of modern Japanese literature. This anthology offer the reader a new Spanish than that of the novelist but as bright as this facet Sōseki . The haiku is a traditional Japanese form of poetry of 17 syllables arranged in a three verses ( 5-7-5 ) . It has no title or rhyme as intended , with maximum simplicity, convey an appreciation of reality spiritualizing and elevating it above its small significance. The haiku , which has remained closely linked throughout with traditional Japanese culture centuries now been universalized so that we can finally consider heritage of mankind.
