"Utopia" has been considered one of the most outstanding works of utopianism that enjoyed great diffusion and recognition in its time. In it, More aspires to a model of society based on social justice and solidarity among men who, like a large family, manage and dispose of the resources they produce in an equitable way, since the appropriation of power, wealth and property privately, by redistributing goods, divides the interests of men and men themselves. More, like Marx, goes beyond the mechanical concept of justice and moves it to a deep and human realm, where communion with the government and participation in the ownership and enjoyment of goods build a just community. The fascination that the Morean utopia still exerts is that the social project he dreamed of is the one that all men dream of. If his ideal were impossible, we would have to say goodbye to justice.
