Based on real events, the author of this novel delves into the life of Victoria, a teenager who fights for emancipation to obtain the right to choose her own path. In her eagerness to learn, Victoria, a reading fan, visits bookstores and the library in her city, until one day she finds herself in front of a book that changes the course of her life. The emotion she feels when reading the rhymes of a poem is so great that she does not stop until she gets to know the life and work of the author. This is how destiny unites these two women separated by three hundred years of history; one, born in the middle of the 20th century, eager to live her own life; the other, the great New Spain poetess of the 17th century, Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz.
