Robert B. Brandom is Professor of Philosophy at the Center for Philosophy of Science at the University of Pittsburgh. He is also member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and the Center for Advanced Study in Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University. In addition to numerous articles and essays, his works include The logic of inconsistency (1980), Articulating Reasons: an introduction to inferencialism (2000) and Tales of the Mighty Dead: Historical Essays in the Metaphysics of Intentionality (2002).
