Pável Florenski

Pavel Florensky (1882-1937) belonged to a strange kind of universal man. His intellectual journey started in the world of science He graduated from the Physics Department of Moscow University in 1904, then went through philosophy, mathematics or art history, but ultimately ended in the theology, always kept open each and every one of these doors. With the advent of the Revolution, he joined the new VKhUTEMAS Academy, where he taught his classes with great teachers perspective of constructivism as Rodchenko and Stepanova. In 1933 he was arrested, charged with conspiracy and imprisoned in a gulag entered Siberia, where he would be executed four years later.
