Eduardo Nicol

Eduardo Nicol was born in Barcelona in 1907. He studied philosophy and was Secretary of the Fundació Bernat Metge, dedicated to publishing the Greek and Latin classics. In 1939 he arrived in Mexico, having participated in the Spanish Civil War. He was professor at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at UNAM since 1940 and professor since 1946.
