Philippe Perrenoud is a sociologist and professor at the University of Geneva. His work on the creation of inequalities and school failure have led to interest in the treatment of diversity in teaching and, more globally, the curriculum, school work and teaching practices, innovation and training faculty. He is the author of numerous books, among others, Métier d'élève et sens du travail scolaire (ESF), The pédagogie to l'école des différences (ESF), Building of success and academic failure (Morata) and develop reflective practice in the office of teaching, recently published by the Graó publisher.
