Virginia Unamuno Kaschapava has a degree in Linguistics and a PhD in Philology. Interested in the sociolinguistic aspects of education, has always combined research and educational practice, both the primary and secondary level and in teacher training and university teaching. As ethnographer speech, has developed several projects in Catalan and Argentine schools, the results can be found in various publications. He is a member of the Study Group on Endangered Languages ​​at the University of Barcelona and the Circle of Discourse Analysis of the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Currently, a researcher in the Department of Teaching Language, Literature and Social Sciences of this university.
